      On Friday, October 17th, 2008 Austin's One World Theatre will host the "Save Austin Music Public Service Announcement Premiere Gala" Event from 7-11pm in their green-built theatre complex nestled in the hill country 10 minutes west of downtown Austin. All members of Austin’s music industry and many local celebrities are invited for an evening of music, activism, and fundraising for ongoing placement of the organization’s Public Service Announcement Campaign.

      Attendance is estimated to be between 300-500 musicians, industry insiders, local celebrities, and fans. The evening will feature half a dozen bands, celebrity appearances, and sneak previews of the PSA; alongside a silent auction, free food and beverages, and networking galore.

      At 6pm, guests will begin arriving in the outdoor tent and will be greeted by acoustic music and free food and drinks. Downstairs in the theatre’s reception area, food will be served for guests near tables with silent auction items from Austin's top businesses. Around the venue, open “charity bars” will feature celebrity bartenders and each bar’s tip jar will be split between SAM and the charity hosting the bar. Upstairs, $35 general seating will be upstage from $85-a-seat VIP seats, and music and presentations will be staged from 7-11pm.
